Welcome! I’m Caroline and I want to thank you for taking the time to have a look at my website. I know that a LOT of words can be dull and overwhelming, but the truth is I struggled to know how much information to offer a prospective patient.
I am a fully qualified traditional acupuncturist and my acupuncture clinic is based in the beautiful small town of Henley-in-Arden.
Having acupuncture gave me my life back, it was a huge turning point in my life and it showed me that I am not limited, defined or controlled by anxiety. It is my dream to support as many people as possible, so they can live their lives without limitations.
I want you to know, I speak my truth, acupuncture saved me in a time in my life where I didn’t see any hope and I wondered if my life was always going to feel like it did, this was back in 2013, I suddenly began to experience debilitating panic attack on a daily basis, partnered with anxiety. It was during one of my darkest times that a friend recommended an acupuncturist to me.
Having four children, I had to do something and within three months of having regular weekly acupuncture, my panic attacks and anxiety was under control. It quite simply changed my life and that of my family, 18 months later I starting thinking, if it (acupuncture) can have such a positive impact on my life, how wonderful would it be to to help others. I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy in 2019 with a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture. This is a three year degree level qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. I was also Highly Commended for my clinical work as an acupuncturist.
The training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory, with a focus on the five element approach. This means that as your acupuncturist, I will consider your main health problem, together with using an holistic approach tailored you, as an individual.
As an acupuncturist, it is extremely important to me to be a member of the British Acupuncture Council and follow the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. British Acupuncture Council members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority. This is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers, and is accountable to Parliament.
As a professional acupuncturist, my acupuncture clinic is fully licensed by Stratford upon Avon District Council. I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
